Scroll down and select Limited Liability Company. It will first ask if yours is a professional limited liability company, which it can be only if you provide professional services that require a license such as legal or medical services.

On the next page, you’ll enter your business name. The site will search the name and make sure that it’s available. If it is, click the button to begin filing your LLC.

On the next page, you’ll enter the organizer name and address. You’ll save it and then continue on to enter your registered agent name and address. Then you have the option to add a registered agent mailing address and upload any attachments.

Then you’ll click through a few pages and get to a page to enter an email address for the delivery of documents.  

Finally, you’ll answer a few simple questions about your business, before you move on to review all your entered information.

When filling out your articles of organization form, be sure to double-check that all the information is accurate and up-to-date. Maybe you’ve just moved, or use your middle initial in official documents, such as with your bank account. If you get it wrong now, changing it later can be a real pain. So accuracy is crucial.
