Once you create an account, log in and select “Start a New Business” from the dashboard page. The first screen lets you know it should take about 15 minutes to complete the form and what information you’ll need. Click the “Next” button at the bottom right corner.
On the next screen, you can choose “Guide me” to walk through the process with the aid of the online business wizard. The form is fairly straightforward, so you could also choose “Frequent User” and still complete the process without issue.
On the next page, select “Limited Liability Company” under the “Select Domestic (Indiana) Business Type” and click “Continue”.

On the next screen, if you haven’t already reserved a business name, enter your choice and click the “Check Availability” button. Then click “Next”.
The following several screens walk you through the rest of the form. You’ll be asked to enter your business email, duration, effective date, principal office address, registered agent information, manager and member information, and governing person information. You can also attach additional documentation.
The final screen provides you with the opportunity to review your information before you officially file. If everything looks correct, click “Next”. The final screen is where you enter your electronic signature. Once entered, click “Add to Payment Cart” to be taken to the payment portal.
When filling out your articles of organization form, be sure to double-check that all the information is accurate and up-to-date. Maybe you’ve just moved, or use your middle initial in official documents, such as with your bank account. If you get it wrong now, changing it later can be a real pain. So accuracy is crucial.
